Tongue tacos

Bring the flavors of your favorite Mexican food joint to your kitchen with this recipe for tacos de lengua, complete with tender chopped tongue meat and traditional garnishes.

Ingredients:

1 kilo of Beef Tongue.

1 head of garlic.

30 ball peppers.

5 bay leaves.

1 white onion.

1 bunch of cilantro.

2 finely chopped onions.

Green tomatillo sauce.

1 kilo of corn tortillas.

Directions:

The tongue is cooked with salt, the head of garlic, the white onion, the bay leaves and the ball peppers. Once cooked, remove the skin and chop finely.

With the hot tortillas, make tacos with the tongue and add cilantro, onion and a spoonful of green tomatillo sauce.
